Editorial Policy

This page explains how content on Hela: of Mice & Magic Wiki is produced, verified and corrected. It applies to every guide, page and translation on the site.

1. Source tiers

We rank information by how verifiable it is, and we label pages accordingly:

  • Tier 1 — Official: Steam store page, Xbox Wire and PlayStation Store listings, publisher press releases, developer interviews and official trailers. Highest confidence; used for dates, platforms, pricing and confirmed features.
  • Tier 2 — Hands-on: observations from the free Steam Next Fest demo (October 2026) and, after launch, from the retail build. Numbers, timings and recipes reported at this tier were observed in-game.
  • Tier 3 — Community: Steam forums, Reddit and Discord reports. Treated as unconfirmed until reproduced; always attributed when used.

2. How we label unverified content

Because Hela: of Mice & Magic launches on December 1, 2026, some pages describe systems that cannot be fully tested yet. Where a claim is based only on promotional material or developer statements, the page says so. We do not present speculation as fact, and we revise pages as soon as firmer information is available.

3. AI assistance disclosure

We use AI tools for drafting, structuring and translating content. Every AI-assisted page is reviewed by an editor who checks factual claims against the source tiers above, removes unverifiable statements and corrects errors. AI is used as a drafting aid, not as a publisher: the editorial team is responsible for what appears on the site.

4. Corrections and updates

If you find an error, email [email protected] with the page URL and the issue. We review correction requests within 48 hours. Substantive changes are marked with a dated note on the page (for example, “Updated 2026-11-05: corrected Switch 2 frame-rate details”). We do not mass-update dates without changing content.

5. Independence

We do not accept payment for reviews, rankings or positive coverage, and we do not sell links. Advertising is served programmatically through third-party networks and is clearly separated from editorial content. Sponsorships, if ever accepted, would be disclosed on the page itself.
